A very very clean and cosy house with a great view over the aerea south Guatemala-City. Although near to the airport no noise! A quiet place! Hot showers Very safe. Shops in the neighbourhod. Busstation nearby. Very wonderful and helpful people .!!!

Great little hostal with amazing views of the volcanos. Neat balcony that overlooks the city and watch the planes landing. Staff are very welcoming.

Location to airport is great but is a drive to most attractions. However Uber is very cheap in Guatemala so not a big issue.

They sent conflicting messages. They said they’d arrange an Uber as I couldn’t from where I was. Then, when I finally arrived, on day 1 of my trip to Guatemala, the place was closed “because the guy probably didn’t want to work Christmas Eve”.

Only saw the outside of it as it was closed.

The hostel was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable, had a convenient pickup and drop off service

Unfortunately I have to make a complaint: the hostel staff offered me to pay their taxi service to take me to the bus stop to catch the bus to Rio Dulce, but the guy took me to the wrong station and when he noticed the mistake, he took me to the right station but it was too late and the bus had already left, so I had to wait 2 and a half hours to catch another bus and I paid a surcharge for the time change. Taking the other bus I missed the connection with the last boat that I paid that was supposed to take me to Livingston, the hostel I had booked in Livingston did not accept a refund for cancellation so I lost the money for the hostel reservation and I found myself in Rio Dulce in the evening in the dark without knowing where to sleep, so I paid for another hostel. So I kindly asked to Life Builders to have a refund for the cost of the taxi because it was a service that made me lose money, they replied that it wasn't true that they had taken me to the wrong station and that they wouldn't refund me, so they called me a liar . Everyone makes mistakes but at least take your responsibilities, at least apologize and don't call your customers liars. Terrible service.
