Great location, friendly staff clean facilities and excellent food and service in the bar below the hostel. Honestly this is one of Melbourne's gems and I strongly recommend staying here for all travelling to Australia. 10/10 QVH you are awesome!!

"Basic but had everything we needed"

Very close to Queen Victoria Market. Tram station right at the front door. Bed was comfy. Everyone was friendly. There was soap provided in the showers Very basic but had everything we needed!

Hostel was very quiet but the road was noisy. Not a problem for us at all but keep that in mind if you are a light sleeper. They also provide ear plugs!

The bar, facilities, kitchen, toilets, the room's comfort and the hostel location. The staff was great too. Great value for what you're paying.

Some days the men showers smelt too bad, some other days they smelt okay. The dryer costs $5 to use, while at any other coin laundry place costs only $1.

"Wouldn’t return."

The staff except 1 young gentleman who worked the bar were rude abrasive and money driven. The location is terrible for the price imo. The was hidden charges not included in the booking which they seemed to make up or mould to whatever they thought appropriate at any given time. Kitchen facilities were cramped and unclean as were the toilets.
