Location, 30 min walk to SCV, Santa Park, 40 min walk to Airport, bus available, shop next to doors, they let left our bags earlier than check in. Thank you

Muy hermoso hostel. Básico pero con todo lo necesario. Habitaciones espaciosas. Limpio todos los días. Muy cerca al aeropuerto y a Santa Clauss Village Hay buses de servicio público en frente.

Hostel have great location, everything is clean inside and friendly people that shared a kitchen with us. Very close to Santa Village and magic weather around

I stayed in Hostel Tikka with a friend for three nights in early December 2025. We arrived unexpectedly early and Tanja very kindly showed up early to set up our room for us. The hostel was wonderful - we had a room with two single beds, a desk, and a place to hang our coats. There are two bathrooms and two showers, both of which were kept very clean. The kitchen was very well equipped, with ample fridge space. We were initially worried that the hostel was too far from the centre of Rovaniemi, but were very pleased to find that it is immediately next to a well-stocked supermarket and a 15 minute walk from the Santa Claus Village (a common pickup spot for activities in and around Rovaniemi) as well as nearby to beautiful hikes and lookouts. The best stuff to do in Rovaniemi is around there anyway. MUST RECOMMEND: Syvasenvaaran Torni, a lookout very nearby the hostel with panoramic views of Rovaniemi. Ubers are surprisingly affordable in Rovaniemi. We would absolutely stay again.

We could occasionally hear people in neighbouring rooms / common areas, but it was very manageable (I am a somewhat light sleeper and didn't find that it was a problem at all).

Great little hostel with only 6 or 7 rooms, so we felt comfortable, like we were in someone’s home. Communication with the host was easy, and everything went smoothly. The rooms are cozy and comfortable—the vibe is much better than the photos on Booking. The bathroom and shower were clean and never crowded. The kitchen was well equipped, with a fridge that has a dedicated compartment for each room.
