Hostel Tikka

Hostel Tikka liegt im Winter in einer schönen Landschaft, auch der Sipermarkt nebenan ist praktisch. Die Küche ist ganz gut eingerichtet und es war meist sauber.

Das Bett war nicht all zu bequem und leider waren auch die Wände sehr dünn, sodass das Schnarchen von nebenan sehr gut zu hören war. Da es für alle zusammen nur eine Toilette gibt, konnte es schonmal eng werden.

It was clean and the location was ideal. It’s not in the town centre but only a short ride by taxi or bus away. Santa Village and airport are even closer. The communication went smoothly and it actually felt like our home in Lapland for a few days. There is 7 rooms located in the hostel but all guests have been amazing and respected everyone’s privacy etc.

Muy buena ubicación, solo a media hora de Santa Claus Village, cerca del aeropuerto y del centro. Hay un supermercado al lado por lo que es muy práctico. El personal es muy atento y todo está bien cuidado y limpio. La cocina está muy completa, no echamos en falta nada.

Las paredes son muy finas y si tienes mala suerte con los “vecinos” pueden llegar a molestarte a ciertas horas.

It was clean and warm . Hotel has good location, close to the airport , santa claus village and Roveniemi city centre.

Internet was very low. Some quest should understand that kitchen is not only for them own ! And they should give space to others!

とても清潔でした。 ドアを開けるためのコードを間違えてフロントに電話をかけたところ、すぐ電話に出て対応してくれました。 質問メールにもすぐに答えてもらえて安心でした。

視察のせいではありませんが、隣のスーパーマーケットが、クリスマスイブだったため早々に店じまいしていて困りました。ホステルでもインフォメーションがあれば、備えができたのに、と思いました。

It was very near Rovaniemi. The room was comfy and warm with enough space for two of us.

The staff was a bit, cold? They helped us yet they felt distant and a bit rude. Maybe it's part of a cultural clash. We were fine during the first few days using the shared bathroom and all but after that some guests were very dirty and noisy. Maybe something could've done about that.
