The Banana Tree Hostel

perfect location right in town and next to the lake. the pool was a good size. the capsule was also good size and mattress comfy.

the hostel is a very young crowd who make a lot of noise. they have events in the evenings which encourage everyone to scream and shout until very late. there was never any hot water in the shower or sink. the curtain in the capsule is too small so does not properly cover the entrance letting in light and noise. would i stay here again? absolutely not. book yourself a nice home stay close by instead !

The beds were really comfortable. I stayed in a room with 8 beds but there are curtains around each so there's a lot of privacy. Central location, pool.

It is a big hostel and there were a lot of people that came in groups while I was there. It can be quite intimidating as a solo traveler who wants to meet people.

very nice hostel, the staffs were super nice and helpful, they all speak very good English and gave me insightful advice. everything you need in a hostel!

Location is central quite convenient. For the hostel itself so busy and the open areas are almost occupied.

Everything comes with additional cost, like even getting hot drinking water charge 10k, bike 50k, only accept cash, staff has no emotion except the guy who is little fat he is nice. No breakfast. And the price in restaurant and bar is much higher than outside. Overall not value for money.

The property itself, and the facilities are really nice, but upon my arrival, I found what I suspect is a bugbed on the bed. I let the Reception now and they quickly took action: they changed me rooms and apparently changed everybody else that was in that room. They washed my clothes for free and I have to say that I appreciate them taking it seriously.

Sadly, the beg bug situation. I took videos and photos that I sent to the staff. I’m not 100% sure it was bedbugs and did not get any bites, but they did act very quickly to solve this situation. Upon looking at other reviews. I did see that some mentioned bedbugs
