Great location and good value for money. Lots of opportunities to socialize, although mostly popular for young backpackers.

I really wanted to love this place after all the good reviews online. The location is amazing however the two beds we had in the dorm room had smelly sheets that had clearly not been changed. As we arrived late at night we slept in the dirty sheets as no one was around to help us find clean ones. I woke up with a rash on my hands. The bathroom was constantly dirty and during the three days we stayed no one came to clean it. Likewise with communal areas- dirty mattresses and bedding by the pool. We had planned to stay some extra days but decided against it for these reasons. We stored our bags the day we checked out and my friends bag was chewed by mice in the storage room (there are warnings on the door about the mice) and now has a hole in it. We told this to reception who did nothing but offer us a sewing kit to fix it. Otherwise, the staff were all very kind and helpful and responded quickly to our messages on watsapp. The location really is amazing and the hostel is good for organising tours etc. But there are equally as cheap, well located and far superior places to stay in Tam Coc. — In your response to my review- there was no opened food in the bag.

Great facilities: the pool, bar and food are all really good and well positioned location. Staff were amazing, the reception was super helpful (Chau and another lady really helped me out) The beds are fairly comfortable and there are good lockers

Curtain doesn’t cover the whole bed, and there is one bathroom for 8 (shower and toilet combined) so can wait a long time which was a bit frustrating
