Lala Hostel

I have stayed in many hostels and I can say this one is in the top 3

Clean hostel with a great value for your money! Central location close to the mosque and tsunami museum. Ilham is very friendly and organized my airport pick up. As a female solo traveller, I felt very comfortable at Lala Hostel. Generally, there are not many tourists in Banda Aceh. If you want to meet fellow travellers, Lala Hostel is probably your best bet!

It is simple and clean. The staff is friendly. Just next to the hostel there is an amazing coffee shop. There is hot water and air con, a cute but equipped kitchen.

Good place in Banda Aceh to stay at. Within walking distance you can find supermarkets, Cafés and Restaurants. You can even walk to the City Center and the Tsunami Museum within 15 minutes. The rooms are clean and silent. There is an air conditioner in the room. Wi-Fi is working very good. The rooms are locked and can only be opened by stuff and roommates, additionally there are cages under the bed to storage stuff, so everything is safe. The host is very friendly and helpful and has good English skills.

The host was really helpful - gave us recommendations for the area, helped us book the ferry and was very responsive to messages when we arrived at the airport

Ilham is great. The hostel is amazing and good price with everything you need. Lots of restaurants and cafes nearby and really good facilities. Perfect!
