The receptionist, who I believe they call Hi Hi was an absolute gem and a sparkle to my day! He was so friendly! Checked into my room and was given a tour of the hostel with all the daily activities explained in great detail! I had a crazy wild evening at wilds! Lake party was unlimited drinks and birthday suit swimming! What an opportunity to start the summer! Zoe the manager is an adorable gem and she is doing all things happily! Will e coming back to have a shot with Zoe “soon”!

The location was right downtown. The kicthen and common area were nice. The bedding was comfortable and cozy. The bathrooms/shower room were clean and spacious. The staff were helpful.

The rooms were really hot! If using kitchen be aware as people take your food even if labeled…. Kitchen needed a good wipe down as tables were stained and sticky.

Price is decent, location is perfect. For me beds were comfortable. Kitchen is decent, has pretty much all you need. There are plenty of activities which seem nice and fun but unfortunately I didn’t have time to join any. Volonteers working there are generally were cheerful, firendly and helpful.

Although it’s cheap and I didn’t have high expectations, I was disapprointed. It’s definitely not 8/10 hostel. There are no pouches for phone near the bed, lockers are broken, no personal lights at night. Worse thing of all, there is one toiled seat availible for whole floor. These things are unacceptable for any price range. There are other issues too but these are expected as this is somewhat a party hostel and I personally didn’t have any problems with it. if you want to have some decent sleep, probably is not the best choice.
