Eine Unterkunft wirklich mitten im Regenwald. Perfekt für alle Natur- und Tierliebhaber/innen. Großes Gepäck unbedingt unten im Office lassen, der Weg hoch ist sonst zu anstrengend.

It is exactly as described: The luxury consists in being close to nature and living in simplicity. It was amazing for me to spend a night directly in the forest next to Corcovado. I heard howler monkeys for the first time in my life! And the sunrise from Bolita lodge was amazing. The paths are very well maintained and easily to find. You cannot get lost and if you pay attention to where to place your steps it is really safe. I was wandering around all by myself. The only thing I highly recommend is to make sure that you know what the fer de lance or Terciopelo snake looks like. It is dangerous to step on it and I saw one next to the waterfalls. They usually won't be on the tracks directly. So if you go to the waterfalls, make sure to watch out for this snake and inform yourself about it first.

Ongelooflijk wat deze mensen gerealiseerd hebben in het oerwoud! Er is licht, douches en wc, en alles om te koken. Er is zelfs wifi. Het enige wat er niet is, is een koelkast.

Außergewöhnliche Lage am Rand des Corcovado Nationalparks. Nur zu Fuß mit 30 min Wanderung inkl Flussüberquerung zu erreichen. Die Küche war sauber und gut ausgestattet. Es ist immer mindestens 1 Volunteer vor Ort. Die Wanderwege sind super spannend, aber die meisten davon unserer Meinung nach nur mit Wandererfahrung zu empfehlen. Wir haben auf den Wanderungen super viele Tiere sehen können und in mitten der Natur im Wasserfall schwimmen können. Die Erfahrung mit der Soundkulisse des Dschungels einzuschlafen, kann uns niemand mehr nehmen

Die Betten sind leider etwas durchgelegen. An der ein oder anderen Stelle sind Bretter lose, diese könnten mal wieder ausgetauscht werden.

Mold in your bed is a serious health issue (I do get, that it is difficult in the tropics)
