Prezzo imbattibile, ragazzo alla reception davvero disponibile, camera pulita ed in posizione strategica, ad un passo dal centro. Bisogna tenere presente, se si sceglie questo tipo di struttura, che si è all'interno di un'abitazione privata e si condividono gli spazi comuni con i proprietari e con gli altri host. La consiglio assolutamente.

The room was spacious and clean. The hotel has a terrace where you will be served a small yet tasty breakfast. The hotel offers also tours, massages and airport transfers. I didn’t book any massages nor tours (which were not worth at all: there are no tigers and the safari is a waste of time and money), but I booked the airport transfers (both ways). It’s possible to choose between tuktuk and car: I chose tuktuk which is cheaper and the hotelier made a good price. The driver was punctual and the ride was good. The hotelier also helped me with the money exchange and it was a fair rate (with USD, with EUR less convenient). I could pay by card both the night and the rides without extra charges (to pay by card you will be brought to a nearby shop because the hotelier shares the POS with other people in order to reduce its cost, which is a smart idea and I was happy with that). Although the village is very small, thanks to a conveniently scheduled and cheap flight I could add this quick stop and I am glad I did (this place is usually skipped by most itineraries, but done in this way it is so timewise and moneywise that it is worth trying to include it).

It didn’t start well with this hotel because of communication issues: advance messaging before the arrival is paramount! The room was a bit cold even though it had no window, but closing all the windows in the common area it went better. Although the location is central (well, the village is so small anyway), it lies in a dark/poorly-lit back street that is hard to find and unfortunately the village is not very safe. I had nice chat with people at a temple and during the walk back to the hotel at least a couple of times some guys on motorbikes tried to stop me (without managing to steal or robbing, but still I felt very uncomfortable). Also, the hotelier is friendly, but also chatty: both at night when I needed to sleep at breakfast when I needed to quickly go to the east temples, he made me waste time. Some customers like to chat, but I guess it’s important to see if one is down for it or if is not.

Absolutely amazing homestay. Everyone was so polite and hospitable. The room was clean, Asa was the common area. The caretaker is kind and an animal lover who takes care of stray puppies like family. They also have couple of grown dogs who are friendly - that’s an added bonus if one is an animal lover, if not the dog keep to themselves and do not bother anyone if not approached. It’s a short walk to the western temples and the market area.

Deze overnachting heeft een zeer goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. De bedden zijn comfortabel en de douche heeft warm water. De locatie is fijn en op loopafstand van de bezienswaardigheden. Avondeten is mogelijk bij de overnachting. De eigenaar is zeer vriendelijk, denkt graag met je mee over je reisplannen en kan helpen organiseren van tours en vervoer.

De hygiëne van de badkamer kan beter.
