It seems as if there was nothing where we could have gotten dinner so we were thankful for their reasonably priced burger. The shared kitchen is also a plus and we enjoyed having a sink in our room.

The beds were uncomfortable and pretty short. The atmosphere in the hostel was rather impersonal.

"Beautiful Borrowdale"

Breakfast lovely, friendly staff and beautiful place. Pods are very cozy.

Need new inside toilets. Outside new ones are nice.

"Lovely staff who provided a really good friendly service; pricing of accommodation way over the top."

Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Being able to eat there and have a drink in nice surroundings was very welcome.

£175 a night for a camping pod which had no shower, toilet, kettle, towels or TV is extortionate. The outside showers were dirty and the water pressure when the water was lukewarm warm was so low you had to lean up against the wall to get wet.

"Ideal spot to act as a central location for a lakes trip"

The location was stunning, the bar was nice, staff were friendly and helpful. The bike felt safe.

showers were ok but could be better. Space to hang things up could have been better breakfast was OK but for the price maybe not great
