Lovely Guest House on a beautiful island run by fantastic hosts.

This is a beautiful traditional Japanese guest house on the island of Yuge. We spent a night here while biking the Shimanami Kaido trail. Yas, our host, was super kind and helpful. Fully equipped kitchen with free coffee and tea. Nice shower. Towels can be rented for 100 yen and laundry machine use for 100 yen as well. Very comfortable tatami beds. Close to a very good izakaya restaurant for dinner as well!

Nothing. Keep in mind though if you are biking the Shimanami Kaido trail that this accommodation is quite far from the main route and requires a bit of a detour. We were very happy to have spent the night here but make sure to plan accordingly.

Lovely Japanese traditional house. Very comfortable. Close to town and the beach. Really enjoyed our stay here. The host is very friendly and helpful with local advice.. Great value for money and a great stay on a really nice island. Highly recommend.

Immaculate renovated turn of the century house. We were lucky to be alone there. Airconditioning! Quiet location close to beach and bath house. Lovely and helpful owner

Yas, the owner of the guesthouse, is immensely friendly and went out of his way to find us when we arrived late and missed our check-in time at a nearby cafe. The guesthouse itself is charmingly decorated and well-maintained. Its location is ideal, close to supermarkets and convenience stores. It's the perfect spot for a few day stay to explore the nearby islands, and the nearby port offers a relaxing atmosphere to unwind and enjoy stunning sunsets.
