K's House Hokkaido - Asahidake Onsen Hostel

Groot hostel met een indrukwekkende onsen (veel water).

Het ligt afgelegen.

Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich. Der Allgemeinbereich ist wirklich sehr schön gemacht. Er versprüht eine solch schöne Atmosphäre und Behaglichkeit. Es ist ein Ort der Ruhe und Zufriedenheit.

Ich hatte das Einzelzimmer mit eigenem WC ohne Dusche. Das Zimmer ist gross und das Bett bequem. Es ist jedoch nicht so schön eingerichtet und wirkt etwas kalt. Es ist völlig okey, fällt aber zum Rest an Wohlfühlatmosphäre etwas ab.

Excellent location if you want to get away from it all. There is plenty of wildlife around the area and the onsen was outstanding - especially the outdoor section. The staff were very helpful and authentically friendly.

Gemütliches kleines Hotel, sehr freundliches Personal. Alles sauber tolle Lage direkt am Berg. Man muss selber Essen mitbringen. Es gibt eine sehr gut ausgestattete Küche und Kühlschränke für die Gemeinschafts Benutzung.

Amazing location being so close to Asahidake Ropeway. It feels like a real adventure hostel with suggestions for hikes and great decor. It’s super clean and spacious so you never felt crowded, including the professional kitchen with four separate stations to cook. You get coffee and toast included in the morning too which was a nice touch. Great laundry facilities, a tatami room, games etc. The staff are friendly and helpful. The onsen was also perfect after a big hike - we had it to ourselves most of the time.

Perhaps the size of the place meant people didn’t mix as much so it’s not very sociable. I think this is more of a Japan thing though plus we were there in the week. If I was being very picky, I missed a plunge pool in the onsen which would have been nice since it’s quite a hot one!
