K's House Hokkaido - Asahidake Onsen Hostel

Very clean. Excellent staff. Great vibes.

A short uphill walk from the ropeway and right by the bus stop, the location is good. Private room was comfy and had a lovely view on the snowy woods that made me just want to stay in bed all day! The outdoor onsen is to die for, especially when it’s snowing, and most often I had it all to myself. The little food shop is very helpful (though please do bring your own food) and the free toast and coffee in the mornings is a nice touch. Staff were lovely.

As a quiet solo traveler, I found the communal areas a little loud and busy, especially in the evenings, and difficult to meet people as most come in groups.

I liked everything, the kitchen and onsen are great spaces. Decent food options at the local store.

Maybe only the double room was quite tight, Japanese style.

Lovely hotel where you can enjoy the amazing view over the mountain. It's really well maintained, equipped and super easy to access from the bus. It's 15 min walking distance from thz information center and ropeway The provide toast and coffee / tea for breakfast. They have a small shop with noodles, some frozen veggies and meat, some sauce. It's convenient if you want to cook. The kitchen is well equipped. Loved the outside onsen. Super friendly staff

Sauberes und zu meiner Reisezeit leeres Hostel. Ich war zu dritt im 10 Personen Schlafsaal. Gutes Onsen inklusive. Frühstück ist basic. Guter Ausgangspunkt zum Wandern

Great onsen facilities and great location very close to the Asahidake ropeway.

Die Lage, die gut ausgestattete Küche, das Onsen ist wirklich wunderbar mit großem indoor Bereich sowie schönem Außenbecken! Und es liegt direkt am Berg!

The staff was super friendly and informative. They gave us great advice about hikes. The onsen was perfect after a long day of hiking.

The breakfast was minimal (bread and jam). Our dinner options were minimal since we didn't bring our own food and there is no restaurant.
