K's House Hokkaido - Asahidake Onsen Hostel

Water has condensed on the ceiling of the public bath and is dripping down everywhere.

The place is perfect for a couple of days hiking trip around Asahidake. The onsen is wonderful, especially you can use it from 3 PM to 9 AM every day. Price is unbeatable in the area, also it is very close to the ropeway. Check-in and check-out flawless. Bus stop is 1 minute from the entrance. Very cosy. Would definitely come again!

The only thing: there is some bug issues, during my stay I had to swap like 20 green stink bugs in my room (a bug extermination is due)

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. Staff were always very friendly and helpful. The common room, kitchen and dining area are very spacious and very well decorated to create a comfy and relaxing space. The onsen is to this day the best one I've visited in Japan, with a beautiful outdoor bath open all night. The shop is well stocked and useful given that there's no other shops or restaurants in the area.

Loved this place, I didn’t even know I booked such a nice accommodation until I got there! I was so happy to come back to the hotel every day after hiking. Location is great, bus 66 stops in front of the hotel and then it’s like a 15 minutes walk to the Ropeway. The rooms are nice and clean, the lobby and kitchen area is amazing, crazy big and so cozy, even just to grab a tea or read a book in the evening. And the onsen is AMAZING. I felt so relaxed after this stay. There is an outdoor pool next to the forest, so nice.
