Location was great. Having a skylight and seeing stars was nice.

Bathroom facilities were dirty. One had a flooding toilet. Bed had hair from previous guests. Bed was very uncomfortable. Overall felt unclean. Wish I had just slept in my car.

It was adequate for our one night stay at Lake Tekapo; easy walk to the local eateries and to the Church of the Good Shepherd. Quite spacious room; there were 3 of us in a family room that could sleep 7. Large well stocked kitchen for communal cooking.

Very hard to find the actual location. We hadn't realised it was part of the Tekapo Village Motel complex, so it took us a while to actually find where to check in. Thankfully we were on the ground level, we would have struggled getting our bags up the outside stairs to an upstairs room. It was very hot in the room and there was no air conditioning (only two heaters!) so it was a bit uncomfortable during the night, not being able to cool the room down. We managed to get parking close by which was helpful. Overall, it was okay for one night.

Probably our worst stay in NZ. Felt very unclean in the room, kitchen extremely unclean - wouldn’t cook or eat in there.
