Vista Hostel Jeolikote, Nainital

Beautiful spot, great team of experienced staff, always ready to help and well aware of other places and hints to continue the journey. Hikings are awesome, sunset spot (30mn going up) or further the top mountain temple (additional 30mn max). Great menu, food is awesome.

Nothing negative but be sure to buy all the little treats, snacks beverages cigarettes etc that makes you happy before. Because VistaStay is isolated and far from any commerce.

A lot of things. The property is evolving with the efforts of many people including Akash, the excellent staff, volunteers, local villagers, and the visitors into an incredible place. The secluded location, the amazing food, the numerous flora and fauna, the aesthetics of all the constructions, the meditation cave, and the abundance of peace, quiet, and nature - all make it an amazing stay. I stayed there during the weekdays and was working. My days were productive and enjoyable.

The property is remote, so moving in and out may be a challenge if you do not have a personal vehicle.

Amazing place, amazing people, delicious food and drinks. Mind stimulating and philosophical.

I arrived at the hostel feeling quite unwell and fatigued from 2 months hard-core travelling. Everyone at the hostel was so kind and supportive. Not only that, the hostel is gorgeous, with fabulous mountain views. I had a great time discovering new birds (so many) with the Merlin app. It's a super place for rest and relaxation.
