"Great location with lovely staff members"

The staff were lovely. Took us to a Thai boxing class and even had drinks with us on our last night. Wish we could have stayed for longer.

Everything near by 1 mins walk the beach 3 mins to the pier 5 mins walk to the market and not even 10 mins to the party. Super quiet in the night. Highly recommend this hostel

The location of this hostel is the highlight. Out of the hostel and walk 1 min to the left and you are at the Pier; walk 1 min to the right and you are at the Loh Dalum beach. Very central location. Lulu (I hope I got the name right) is such a sweetheart. She made sure we had a comfortable stay. Suggested the restaurants where the locals eat to experience authentic Thai cuisine. Gave us a football and a beach mat to go out and enjoy our time at the beach. Made us feel at home. She also booked us the tours to Maya Bay and Phi Leh on a speed boat, also our Ferry to Krabi at a very reasonable price. Reggae Bar, Slinky Bar are all just 5mins walk from the hostel. Market and shopping areas are just a stone throw away. They have extra shower rooms, so you don't have to wait to take shower if someone is already using the main bathroom in your dorm. Highly recommend if you are a solo traveller or a group of friends.

Just its location.

I'll start by saying that the staff consists of 3 women, one is nice, one is uncommunicative and the third (maybe her mother) is the most unkind person I've ever met. As soon as I arrived at the hostel she yelled at me that you're not allowed to wear shoes inside. When I returned to the room at around 12am she was cleaning the room with the light on while people were sleeping, took people's shoes and put them on the shelf outside the hostel, she threatened me that if I didn't put my shoes in the closet she would throw them in the trash. In addition, the mattress was so uncomfortable that I had back pain, they didn't change my sheets the entire time I was there, there wasn't always hot water and I had to shower with a hose because they didn't fix the shower head. Not recommended.
