Kitchen not well equipped, tiny space, aircon active only during night.

The A/C was perfect and much needed... Staff was really welcoming and helpful, and we loved the dog Bruno :) Overall the value for money was good.

We can't really come and go as we please, as we always have to wait for someone to unlock the door - which is good for security - but it's kind of annoying, and we felt like we disturbed the staff. The rooms could use some hooks to dry the wet towels. Bathroom could be cleaned a bit more often :/

Street with lots of restaurants is just around the corner

A cozy, clean hostel, with one of the best internet connections I have had in Colombia +100 MB of speed. Great value for money. Juan was really attentive and helpful with all the questions. 100% recommended. Muchas gracias Hostal Españolete!!

The staff was incredible. I got to practice my Spanish a lot during my time there. They were very helpful with everything and two nights I played Fifa and F1 with Daniel. Also/ But most other people staying were Spanish speakers, so if you are a non-Spanish speaking solo traveler, this might not be it for you.

Very social if you speak Spanish while I was there, but not really in the classic hostal backpacker way

Daniel was super friendly! He helped us find a doctor when one of us got sick and was very kind and helpful! :)
