Nada, todo me encantó.

There is hot water in some of the showers, and the female and male accommodations are separate. There’s a very nice pool and a great common area, which is very pleasant for working, relaxing, or getting some sun. The hostel has its own restaurant, and breakfast is included — it’s simple, but good and satisfying. There are bus stops conveniently close to the hostel, and it’s near the center where there’s more activity. However, the area itself, around the center of Santa Marta, is not the best or most pleasant. I found it to be quite run-down, with many homeless people and very little tourism infrastructure — but that’s more about the area than the hostel itself. One thing that could be improved is the refrigerator, which was extremely full and very disorganized. There were some very unpleasant-looking foods inside, and my food that I had stored there was eaten. Possibility to stay at the hostel after check-out and leave your luggage at the reception without any problem, which makes traveling much easier. Overall, it’s a hostel with a good value for money.

As for the surrounding area, I didn’t expect it to be located in such a poor neighborhood. I didn’t feel very safe there because the streets were very dirty, and there were many homeless people and junckys wandering around, which can feel uncomfortable — especially for a woman walking alone.

Very nice and well maintained hostel, very friendly and helpful staff, relaxing courtyard with a pool, good drinks and food, and a good breakfast is included. Been here I think 6 times, always coming back. Thank you very much for your hospitality 😊
