Kingfisher Hostel

The owner was genuinely kind. He is happy to accept your cancellation if you decide not to stay.

I stayed in December, there were many mosquitoes and no protection so we did not sleep much. People smoked in the adjacent kitchen so the room we stayed in stunk by smoke.

This is a very little hostel, close to the "new bus station". We rented, with the other hostel travellers' bicycles, and visit the Stupas around. Thilina, the owner, is a very kind and helpful person. He can give you many tips to visit places around. It was a very nice stay there.

I loved staying at Kingfisher. The owner of the accommodation is charming and always ready to help you. The room has 2 double bunk beds. The beds are very comfortable, each with its own fan. Internet is going very well. There is a kitchen and bathroom. The location is very good, next to one of the most important streets in Anudarahpura and a beautiful lake. I totally recommend it for quality-price, and for the human quality of the people I have found there. Thank you!!

I had a lovely stay. The staff is super friendly and helpful with anything and likes to hang out with the tourists. It was more like a homestay than a hostel. Super close to the bus station and new town train station

I spent one of my best days on this trip with Thilina, the owner of the hostel. Super friendly, nice, and very funny. I am very happy to have shared moments with him and Cynthia. The hostel is very good, double beds, fans in each bed. And perfect location 5 minutes from the bus station. Thank you very much Thilina for these days, you will always be in my heart.

Kind staff, great beds

Great stay at a boutique hostel, just the 4 main beds in the dorm room, but each dorm bed is a double so 10/10 for comfort. The location was great and the owner was very helpful with requests.
