The highlight of the place is definitely the owner which is very nice,helps with any advice and was eager to hangout. This was a cool experience to hangout with a local. Location is just perfect, close to bus stop, supermarkets, restaurants. It's around 2,5 km from the temples so I recommend bicycle or tuk tuk. The beds are big and have individual fan.

Very basic but you get what you pay for. I would suggest adding light to each bed as the room is very dark with poor little lamp and no window. Individual lamps would be a great improvement.

It was a comfortable stay and the owner Thilivin us such a nice and humble guy.Do give it a try and you wont regret

Owner was very nice and helpful with planning our trip to Wilpattu national park (arranged everything for very good price). The beds were very big, fan on every bed, also curtains and lockers. Best value for the price.

The host is a lovely guy, super available for tips, info and all kind of things, he’s trying to expand his business and he’s doing great, I would tell you to go and support this lovely guy. The hostel itself is fine, just need a bit of work. Go there you’re gonna be happy

Near to bus station. Easy to buy halal food from Muslim stall.

The door from the master bedroom has no lock to block entrance from it. The window in the master bedroom was left ajar, gave no security as anyone can pass through it easily into the master bedroom, then into the dormitory room.

Big and comfortable beds. The owner gave me a locker to lock my belongings. He was attentive during the check-in.

From my point of view, the shared bathroom wasn't clean enough, neither the kitchen. The neighbours were a bit noisy.

Super friendly owner

The owner is such an amazing person! Staying at this hostel is like staying at a friend's place, you can really see that he loves hosting people! He's always ready to help you with every little thing. The bed is huge, I really loved it! And the location is great, very close to many restaurants and supermarkets!
