The guy on reception was very friendly and welcoming. The room was very comfortable. The hostel is in a great spot, handy for everything

The stuff

Te room wasn't as described on the pictures , there we're 2 extra beds on the room so there was no place to move also on the bathroom was a leak when I flushed the toilet some of the dirty water came out tru the floor.

Outside of the location of Cabo Polonio this hostel was terrible. We've been to close to 60 countries and when you consider the price and how we were treated it's up there for bad experiences.

Don't be fooled by the pictures. This place has seen better days. It appears to have been created by someone who really cared, but it's seen some things and hasn't been maintained. This place had no power at the time, no wifi, no mosquito nets, and they didn't even have hand soap in the facility. One of us developed a stomach virus on the ride to Cabo Polonio. I'm a nurse and don't like spreading disease. This is a huge hazard having an entire place without a simple thing like hand soap. This puts into question eating anything from the shared kitchen, or anything prepared by their cooking staff. This is the rude response I received when I mentioned this "With all due respect, but my question is, what were they doing in Cabo Polonio with a sick person? Didn't you see that it is a national park where there is no electricity, no water, nor any type of amenities? With a day like this still". From the staff themselves this place isn't fit for human habitation.

The bed was comfortable and breakfast was acceptable. There is a nice area to eat and socialize just outside of the hostel. Most of the staff was quite helpful and friendly.

The hostel is shown to be near Playa Sur on the Booking map. As a result, we paid extra to stay here with the expectation of easy beach access and good views. After trying to find the property for about 1.5 hours a representative got back to us and told us that the property was at a different location, on the main street. They apologized for the error but refused to cancel the booking or lower the price to something comparable to nearby inland properties. They did offer us dinner at no extra charge and the dinner was good. Our room has no view. Our bathroom had a lot of sand on the floor and no toilet paper. The hostel is next door to anther hostel which had music at night. Some may find it to be loud.
