Very good location, breakfast was good too

Pillows were not super comfortable and not a social hostel at all

The 6 bed dorm had big comfy beds and big lockers. Breakfast was great, also greeted with a coffee and cake on arrival. Good location, walkable to the town centre. Bus easy to catch from the road outside the hostel. But the best bit was the staff - I left something there by accident and they arranged for a courier to deliver it at a future hostel. So kind and helpful. Would recommend to everyone 💕

Nothing to dislike

I had a great stay ! The owner and staff was super nice and helpful :) Great breakfast, the dormitory room is really nice and clean with comfy beds, personal light and locker. Amazing HOT SHOWER !!! Really nice commun area as well and I've met great people during my stay at ProMax Villa :) Highly recommend the place !!!

Harin was an excellent host. He makes a great dinner, and was very helpful with teaching us the local language.

But what truly stood out was the incredible service provided by the staff. They were incredibly helpful and attentive, always ready to assist with any request or inquiry we had. The breakfast they prepared for us was absolutely delicious, left us feeling satisfied and energized for the day ahead. Every aspect of our stay at Promax Villa exceeded our expectations and was worth every penny. We cannot recommend this place enough and will definitely be returning in the future. I had such a lovely stay at this place, I stayed an extra night :) the rooms are peaceful and comfortable with big lockers and amazing hot showers (best shower I’ve had in Sri Lanka), perfect after a cold hike or long journey. What makes is place special is definitely the hosts - they are so welcoming and kind, I felt at home and very well looked after - they helped me arrange transport to Horton plains and made me a breakfast for the hike, and arranged dinner for me when I was disorganised… As a solo traveller I really enjoyed the company of the other nice guests and Haran, I can only recommend this place

Very helpful owner, great breakfast and good rooms. They rooms are warm and clean. Nice common area as well. You can take a bus to the city center.

Personally, I liked the host so much! So welcoming and very helpful with everything. The distance to everything was very nice and you could walk almost everywhere, just remember that it gets very cold at night. Our room was very big and ve had a nice bathroom too. The breakfast was amazing and we got fresh fruit every morning with eggs and toast.

Dorm is very clean and with everything that you need, nice living room to hang out. Host is very friendly and helpful. Amazing breakfast! Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough!
