The hostel is located right on the beach, and had a great vibe from the start! We had some trouble locating it because it was dark and google maps wasn’t helpful. We were running late but the two sisters who own the house waited up for us and made us feel right at home. If you like falling asleep listening to the ocean, under a huge dream catcher this is the place for you! Breakfast is fresh, and the coffee delicious. The artisan shop is right there with lots of creative designs by the sisters. I even met their mother. Such a beautiful family stay.

It was a perfect place to have a comfortable time, just a few steps from the beach also you can make snorkel in front of the hostal. Very helpful and kind staff. For sure we will be back.

A bit far from the parking but it also means a more relaxing landscape far From he noise and crowded front.

The location is absolutely great, the hostel isn't a 5 Star hotel, instead it is exactly what it needs to be. Comfy, super cute decorated, welcoming and the beach is on step next off the porch. I am incredibly happy that I came there even if was just for one night. The beach is lined with hotels but this one is definitely the nicest.

It’s a little paradise between the crowded beaches in Barú. The two sisters who take care of the hostel are very helpful. Breakfast and lunch are delicious. It’s possible to take yoga classes at the hostel. The room is basic and clean. During daytime, you can charge your phone (solar panels).

Ants everywhere in the room. No wifi, no power during the Day

This charming hostel is run by the nicest family in an incredible shore front location along a quieter section of the playa. It was a shame we couldn’t speak better Spanish as it would have been so nice to have gotten to know them better. it was also so handy to be able to book tours and taxis directly through Sol.

not the fault of the hostel but a generator running next door all through the night in the next hostel meant we didn’t get a whole lot of sleep. also the construction work taking place from 6:30am every morning was less than ideal, but I’d hope it would be finished soon. the breakfast was delicious, although for us it was small.

I think this is the best place to be in Playa Blanca. It feels peaceful even in the most busy season. The two girls, Sol and Camila, who own it (and their mother) are fantastic. They did everything to make my stay comfortable. The food was delicious. I had transport with them, and the driver followed me to the beach and found a boat for me. It's only 15 minutes walk, but the boat is more comfortable. I really recommend DespertArte!
