Alajuela Backpackers Airport Hostel

One of the worst hostel experiences I’ve had. During my stay, the air conditioning unit leaked directly onto my backpack and electronic devices during the night, causing water damage to my iPad and Magic Keyboard. My iPad started malfunctioning afterward. What shocked me most was the complete lack of responsibility taken by the staff and management. Despite showing clear evidence of the leak and the damage caused by their equipment, they continuously avoided the issue, dismissed the situation, and refused to seriously help or offer any real solution. I understand that accidents can happen in any hostel. What is unacceptable is the way this situation was handled afterward. When a property’s faulty infrastructure damages a guest’s expensive personal belongings, the minimum expectation is professionalism, accountability, and basic customer support none of which I received here. Very disappointing experience overall. I would strongly recommend future guests to be careful with their valuables and not expect much help if a serious problem happens during their stay.

Calidad precio. Si terraza. Que te traen del aeropuerto. Eso es lo mejor. Céntrico

Proximity to the airport.

The beds are uncomfortable, the pillows smell and are flat, sheets are very thin and there are no blankets, the beds location make it very hard to move around the room with luggage, the wall electric outlets are scary/broken. The guy at the reception was not friendly, I had to come down twice since my key would not open the room door.

Disponen de un servicio de shuttle al aeropuerto gratuito. El baño estaba limpio y el suelo también.

La limpieza. Las sabanas estaban sucias, tenian pelos. Se lo comentamos al personal y nos proporcionaron unas que tampoco estaban limpias.
