Staff was helpful.

It was not clean, the baths need a renovation.

The staff were very friendly, helping me when I needed. Even picked me up from Ribeira Brava town one night. Plus free laundry!

Unfortunately it was not the cleanest, the bathrooms and rooms a bit dirty and bugs in the kitchen. It is also not ideal if you do not have a car to travel around. There is a bus system but you must plan your day around the times.

Located on the hill, great view from above, pretty sunsets, nice facilities, rooftop terrace, lovely staff and cute cats :)

Shared bedrooms and bathrooms and kitchen -> not always 100% clean but that’s what you have to expect in hostel ;)

Everything that was needed was there, friendly staff.

Must have a car to reach the property, unless you want to walk an hour up a very steep and windy hill

Don't come here. The hostel is infested with bed bugs. The overall condition of the hostel is terrible. There are sick cats on the property which have access to the guest rooms. The ownership situation is unclear and there are random people living on the property. I felt unsafe during my stay.

tragedy. kitchen full of mold, it is even inside the cabinets and fridge. After checking the mattress it turned out that there were bedbugs in it. The service was nice and helpful - they gave us a room in another place, but you can see that the hostel is dirty and we do not recommend this place. We didn't have high expectations as it was one of the cheapest hotels, but bedbugs and mold were too much.

I have really met a complain booking .con that the whole bed was filled with bed Bugs Today's I never get sleep.I also complain to the landlord My roommate also had the same problem. I have photo of it.
