HI Gros Morne - Out East Adventures

Great location, friendly staff, well equipped common areas, comfortable room.

The staff was very friendly and informative about things going on in the area (we were there for the August long weekend and there were fireworks and activities in town they told us about). It was in a great area with easy access to places we wanted to go. Beautiful location and so much to see. The other guests were also great to meet and chat with. I would love to come back and would stay here again.

I loved everything, especially the kind, cool and fun staff (hello Stefan, Colin, Adan and Amy). Stefan has good recommendations for hikes and a good moose burger. Colin, the mastermind who has experienced different hostels during travels, thought about every single practical detail to create the best hostel and to make your stay an easy one: every room has its own bathroom, your bed has curtains so no sleep paralysis demon can find you, it has a little shelf so you are free from sleeping with your water bottle and your trinkets next to you, the solid wooden bed frames allow your roommates to wiggle as much as they want during their sleep and you won’t hear or feel the bed moving. There is also a washer/dryer and fresh good local coffee every morning. They just can’t do anything about snoring people and I totally understand that (humor).

I absolutely hated the fact that I couldn’t find anything to complain about. Unusual. I also hated leaving.

It is an excellent hostel with all the amenities you could want.

Warm staff giving lots of advice about nearby activities. Amazing community of travelers, I enjoyed meeting each and everyone there.
