Hostal Cuca Macuca

Great place to meet others and so affordable! The staff are so friendly and made me feel like family 💖 And honestly, they clean all day! Comfortable bed too. Great place to meet fellow travellers of all ages. It is a hostel so expect that. The location is pretty great too. Close to the beach and the centre of town 😉.

The location was great. It was very quiet! Nice to have a little line on the balcony to dry towels overnight.

Three storey climb to reception.

Room felt private and safe with two locked doors between myself and the world. Slightly off the main area so it’s quieter but also still so close to everything (beach, food, bars, grocery, atm).

Nothing particular- just an averageish place in terms of comfort and cleanliness.

L’emplacement

La chambre n’a pas été faite pour tout notre séjour (3 jours). Pas de changement de serviettes. Salle bain de très sale. Le lit est trop petit pour deux personnes. Cuisine commune malpropre.

Die Lage. Wir konnten unseren Mietwagen an der Straße abstellen und wir hatten dabei kein ungutes Gefühl. Das kleine suße Zentrum ist direkt fußläufig erreichbar und der Strand ebenfalls nur ein paar Gehminuten entfernt. Die Unterkunft ist einfach gehalten, aber wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Am Morgen kann man sich kostenlos Kaffee aus der Gemeinschaftsküche nehmen.

Das Privatzimmer war zur Straße ausgerichtet und es fuhren unfassbar viele Lkws zur naheliegenden Baustelle - daher war es zum Schlafen recht laut.

There's so many positives about this place. The location is excellent The View was terrific. The Rooftop was Charming with cozy lounge chairs fantastic sunsets and a nice dipping pool. An extra bonus was the coffee every morning and the accessible potable water. The icing on the cake were the Fantastic staff. Can't wait to go back in 2 weeks

The location was good. There was hot water.

The noise from other rooms was terrible - we were woken up twice in the middle of the night by other people. There seems to be zero insulation and people were also very inconsiderate. The roof terrace was dirty and there was dry dog poo up there. The swimming pool was closed off the whole time we were there and no efforts were being made to fix it. There was no drinking water when we went to get some during the day and the common area shuts 9:30pm-8am so you can’t access it then. It’s the most disappointing hostel I’ve stayed in especially for the higher price.

I'm so happy I picked this place to stay in. From a very get go you feel like right at home. Staff and people here are very friendly, social and help you with every need or questions you might have. Definitely eventually coming back here. The town itself is a hidden gem as it or not as touristy as other places on riviera Maya.

During my stay there were water issues. Sometimes not having a hot shower, then not having a running water at all and constant problem with toilets not flushing properly.

La posizione centrale, la stanza ampia e luminosa, lo spazio per la prima colazione con la disponibilità di un buon caffè

La stanza era al primo piano sulla strada molto trafficata anche di notte. Il bagno non era in camera ma al fondo di un corridoio. Abbiamo soggiornato 3 notti e non hanno mai pulito e neanche svuotato il cestino in cui bisognava buttare tutta la carta igienica. Sarà anche una cittadina sicura ma la porta di accesso sulla strada era sempre aperta e la reception era al 4. Piano. Non siamo stati pienamente soddisfatti

Excelente ubicación. A dos minutos de la playa, sin duda es una opción económica y agradable. Valeria nos recomendó un tour por los arrecifes que fue espectacular. Dispones de cocina y es muy útil si estás varios días.

Personalmente, el colchón de la cama no era muy cómodo. Se hundía, no sé si por su exceso de uso y desgaste.
