"Clean, comfortable and full of character with a super host!"

10.0

Denise is a fantastic host! The hostel is clean, comfortable and very reasonably priced. Breakfast and towels were extra which is standard at a hostel and the breakfast was just what I needed before my next leg of the coast to coast. It’s important to support independent institutions like this one. Full of character!

"It wasn’t a bad place just not good value given the quality of accommodation and inadequate bathroom facilities"

6.0

Location, friendly manager, character

£37 for a dorm room with no breakfast felt poor value. The bunk beds were small, the shower was barely lukewarm with poor pressure, no hand soap or paper towels in the toilet (room 4 one anyway)
