Pensão Destino is simply magical. The location is unbeatable—peaceful, charming, and it is the train station, which made my childhood dream. The place is quiet and full of character, perfect to disconnect. The host is fabulous—warm, welcoming, and incredibly thoughtful. In the morning, fresh bread was waiting at the door, along with delicious breakfast items. It’s those little gestures that make this place unforgettable. I’ll definitely return.

What a fabulous find. An old train station. The en-suite rooms were very large and comfortable. Ana was a fabulous host. The kitchen was well equipped and breakfast was plentiful. Good communal areas and a good wifi connection. Lots of safe spaces for our dogs. I can't recommend this enough.

This is a unique, memorable place to stay, full of character and history and local feeling, with a super friendly and attentive host. It is totally quiet except for the birds, with a great location near to Castelo Vide, Marvão, and the Serra. The rooms are spacious and filled with light from big windows. The common area had lots of information and books on the area. The breakfast was simple but nourishing, with freshly baked bread, jam, butter, cheese, granola, yogurt, juice, and coffee. You might come here for the Instagram photos... but you will stay for the quality of the experience! Thank you!

The mattresses were fine and comfortable enough, but a little old. At least one was creaky (noisey).

Our lovely host Ana met us when we arrived and immediately welcomed us with a cup of tea. She was a font of knowledge about Portugal and gave us many good tips on where we should visit. The surroundings were peaceful and quiet but not too far from places of interest. We had the use of a well appointed kitchen and Ana served us a delicious breakfast. We were very sad that we could only stay one night.
