Crocodhouse eight years hosting

I went for this hostel after another place I had booked turned out to be scammy. The owner was pleasant and welcoming, the place was clean and affordable, the bed was comfy and at the time when I was there, there weren't many other guests so I felt I had a bigger room, almost totally for myself. The location is OK, close to Aldi. Altogether, what could have been a disaster turned out to be a very pleasant visit to Fort Lauderdale. If I come again, I'll stay at the same hostel.

Nothing much.

I like William the person who greeted me, but only after he warmed up. In the beginning he put a tough guy persona and I felt like I was being stopped by the police and commanded to spread them up against the wall spread them. I guess upon realizing I was no threat he relaxed and I can only imagine what past bookings must have presented for him that he felt he needed to begin with such an approach

Whoever owns this property and is advertising it I did let them know my ETA however when I arrive nobody was ready I was not giving any information about checking or how to get past the gate the locked gate or how to even announce my presence once I arrive. So I called the host and I got a recording and I left a message and say it's dark and I'm standing outside here and I've arrived as I said and I'd like to come in check in into my room. This is no way to greet a gas. I've hosted in the past myself and I would have never ever left a guess have such an experience or start off there stay with me in this manner

Es lo que normalmente se busca cuando se necesita dormir y ducharse, la verdad no tuve tiempo de estar allí mucho tiempo, de resto todo normal habitaciones compartidas con varias personas, respetuosas cada una de sus espacios

Tal vez un dispensador de agua, no sé si tenía no vi y no pregunté,

El lugar es acogedor, limpio, bien ubicado. William muy atento, amable y pendiente de tener todo en su punto. Me facilito un casillero pequeño con llave. Los otros huéspedes fueron respetuosos, cada uno en lo suyo pero se puede tener una conversación corta. Compartí mi habitación con dos mujeres. Tienen baño para mujeres y para hombres y siempre estaba limpio. Me gustó que cada cama tenga cortinas que te permitan tener privacidad y evitar la luz del exterior. Después del Check out me permitieron estar sin inconvenientes en la zona común ya que mi vuelo era en la tarde. "Un lugar tranquilo al que sin duda volvería"

Supero mis expectativas así que todo me gustó, sin embargo me gustaría que tuvieran locker para maletas grandes o armario con cerradura. Por si acaso.

House is at good location,,out there lots of restaurants n bar pubs n bus stop & plus gentlemen there very helpful

Kitchen should be little more organised

It’s comfortable, quiet at night and clean. Great air conditioning and ventilation. The bed is large, I’m 180cm and I could sleep very well

The host was not aware of my arrival to the hostel so I had to sent an email to they give it to me the gate password. He would be more kind with guests and Clean the bathroom better. There’s no space to save the clothes, is just a closet to all of the guests in the shred room. I recommend to have big lockers to save de the baggage.
