Crocodhouse eight years hosting

House Manager was friendly, checked with me and others everyday to ensure everything was going fine. He told us he was next door and if we needed anything we could contact him 24 hours daily.

The entrance door into the duplex had an entrance key pad but the door knob was NOT secure at all. Anyone could pull it hard and gain entrance. Once inside the duplex bedroom could not be secured up on leaving. There was no way to lock the door when leaving the home. I carry very expensive laptop, medicines issued to me by Veterans Hospital that I cannot have replaced because they are controlled and they will not reissue because they would think I am abusing. Ceiling in bathroom was peeling and falling down. Same thing was happening in kitchen ceiling. Other personnel DIDN'T observe quiet time rules at all.

My experience of the place was completely Excellent! First the manager of the place - William An elderly man who makes an effort to maintain his place in the best possible way, from my arrival to my departure I received only kindness and respect from him. I stayed in a room with another one person only, the bed was clean and tidy, there was excellent WIFI, a shower with hot water, lockers for storing belongings. There is a kitchen equipped with utensils with a large refrigerator for storing food. There is a private garden to sit in especially in the evening when the heat drops and it has a good atmosphere! The place is not a regular hostel, more of a homely feeling! Within a 2-minute walk there are shops and fast food restaurants that were open 24 hours a day which is a big advantage! There are also buses to the entire area so it was very convenient to travel without much walking. In conclusion I highly recommend and I really think that some of the previous comments may have been written by negative people or those who thought of getting a luxury hotel for the price of a hostel ממליץ בחום כפי שכתבתי באנגלית!

Everything was fine!

The bathroom was very clean and they provide soap and towel. The toilet is closed off in the same room as the shower. Bathroom Sink is open common area. All common areas were nice.

The backyard was not as welcoming as in pictures

The staff were extremely rude, and the facilities were filthy and poorly maintained. This was the most unpleasant stay I’ve had in eight years. The manager, who sadly appears to have lost much of his sight, left the bathroom smeared with dirt, blasted his TV at full volume, and repeatedly entered my room without knocking. When I unpacked on an empty bunk after the previous guest had checked out, he barged in screaming. A truly awful experience.

All is close and transport is very near. To de house.
