Shorebreak Hostel San Juan La Union

I didn’t like the location as it was a little bit far from the beach the price is a little bit off for the quality of the room. To much time spend for check in and check out specially asking deposits upon stay waste of money for a room. Definitely not to recommend to all my canadian friends as locals 😏 CAUTION : stain charge you 500 pesos no slippers in the room . Even bringing food is prohibited . No disability access . But staff are very hospitable as we all expect in Philippines .

The modern architecture, comfortable room, good water pressure of bathroom, efficient staff

Location - far from the beach Inadequate and narrow parking space Too many restrictions that are anti-guests (no food and drinks from outside, no masseurs from outside are allowed, charging of stained linens and towels) Expensive charging of room

Having to beg to check in 1 hour early while we sat and sweated in the heat. The room was empty and already cleaned. But the front desk wanted 1500 pesos more to go in early. Finally letting us in 1 hour early after the lady at the desk spoke to a gentleman. We checked out at 5:00 a.m. But no one was at the front desk till 7 a.m. to get our deposit back. Lucky we had other family members there to get our deposit back later in the day.

Sorry but zero, I can’t recommend the place.

Way to small room, and dirty, not enough water pressure. Can only accommodate 2 cars but they’ll wake you up , to move your car each time even in the middle of the night.the staff wasn’t trained properly.😇
