Nice hostel thirty minutes by walk far to the downtown with good common dehor. Lockers outside the room. Good value for the money

A very special place! Oscar and his team have been most welcoming and open and you simply feel at home when you decide to stay with them. Infinitely accomodating and reasonably priced - for us it was just perfect.

Nicholas is awesome, lockers available, shared kitchen. 4:20. Cool place

Seriously, put an end time for your check in so people coming into the city late know they can't stay here, you'll get someone seriously hurt

I really don't like writing negative reviews but I'm writing this because I think this is incredibly important and it could genuinely save someone's life. When you advertise your check in policy is from 2pm and you don't give an end range it gives the impression you can check in late. I had a late bus into Cartagena and arrived at the property at 2am, I notified this hostel via WhatsApp about the time I was arriving. When I arrived the hostel was closed, and they did not answer my phone calls. This is extremely irresponsible, understand that at night Torices is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS, one of the most dangerous parts of the city and the hostel is in a street where there is no light. I was extremely lucky to find a place next door that had people and they helped me get a room but if they weren't there I very likely at best would have been robbed and at worst killed.

loose, free party kinda environment. owner is friendly. free filtered water. good kitchen area. nice cat that hopped into my bed to wake me up, and the dogs are pretty nice but a bit wild.

i was too hot to do much exploring of the city due to the room having 2 fans for 6 beds, neither of which blew on me. had to keep taking showers. doesn't seem like the best location. saw one of the dogs humping someone's pillow and it left something wet on their bed sheet. owner chased the dog off, but didn't replace the pillowcase and the dog was soon back in the bed anyways. bed frame felt like it might come apart at any moment, at least from the top bunk position.

Lovely wholesome place to stay, everyone was so kind and welcoming!
