lo mejor la ubicacion y el colchon. Lo peor la habitacion es super pequeña. EL primer dia me dieron una sin armario y el segundo me cambiaron para una con armario porque yo lo pedí. la habitacion es super pequeña y el baño de la habitación es super pequeño. Apenas uno puede entrar.

Hostal situé dans Getsemani, mais dans un coin calme, donc très bien situé. Climatisation dans la chambre très appréciée avec les températures de la ville. Chambre propre.

Absence d'ouverture vers l'extérieur (la fenêtre donne dans le couloir), mais pour 2-3 nuits, ce n'est pas forcément gênant.

A localização é muito boa, no coração do bairro Getsemaní. Staff bastante cordial. Instalações simples, mas limpas.

Em três dias de estadia, faltou água duas vezes, inclusive no dia da minha volta... Tive que pegar 20h de voo sem banho. Não sei se é comum a falta de agua mas o Hostel deveria ter uma cisterna maior ou outra solução.

The location is within walking distance to the touristic areas of Getsemani and the Historical Center. The AC in the room was great.

I was given the room behind the reception on the ground floor. Unfortunately this room’s noice isolation was non existent which resulted in little sleep during my stay. When people were having a chat at the reception it felt like I was part of the conversation, which was particularly frustrating early in the morning with staff talking loudly. The bathroom smelled very bad, like some old warehouse. And finally, there was no WiFi during my entire stay, which the staff assured me was something that affected the entire neighborhood. However, a restaurant around the corner didn’t have that issue. All with all I am surprised by the high rating of this hostal, I would not recommend staying here.

The hostal is in a great location and the staff is friendly and always has a smile on their face. The AC works well in the rooms which is SO needed.

I don’t quite understand why this hostal has such great reviews. We have stayed in MUCH better places for the $45/ night than this one. The room is so small and the bathroom is even smaller, to the point where you can’t even sit straight on the toilet because your knees would run until the wall. You also have to use the sink from an awkward side spot because the toilet is touching the sink. The pillows are very flat and the bed it quite hard. There is no tours or information about Cartagena offered. There are also quite a few sketchy looking people loitering around the entrance most times we entered at night (it is locked during the night so still felt safe). I would definitely say save your money and stay anywhere else.
