Hostal La Casa de Luis

In a great location right next to restaurants and the ferry terminal. The kitchen has a fridge, hob and microwave. CCTV and the front door is locked so it felt safe. A/C in rooms and WiFi. The free breakfast is simple but included coffee, juice and a plate of eggs, bread and fruit.

No free filtered water which was a let down. The staff were lovely but constantly on the phone out loud while serving/talking to you.

We got wrong room, a smaller than we payed for and the host couldn’t give us money back or change anything

Location was convenient

The woman working there was rude, and unaccommodating as she double booked my reservation and didnt have the sense to correct the mistake without wasting hours of my day over her error. Breakfast was inedible for me, better not to include breakfast when it tastes like that. ALSO, construction and many men yelling outside my door from 8am in the morning…the woman working there did not care to mention this to me. Room was never cleaned. Horrible service & no intelligence.

The location is very good

The kitchen is bad equipped. A curtain was missing in our room and because the room looks out on the street, we got a lot of street light in our room making it difficult to sleep.

Simple no frills hostel. Rooms were clean and bedding was comfortable. Breakfast was included.

There was no drinking water in the hostel. However, they lent us a big 5 gallon jug that you could refill at the store for a few dollars. Stairs are steep!

The location is really close to everything: the ferry, restaurants, diving centers so it's really convenient. The breakfast was eggs, fruits, 2 slices of bread and coffee without sugar.

The room was noisy and we had a glass door to a balcony (without any table or chairs) so we had to put something on it to shut the light. The bin was full with ants and we didn't get a hand towel (only personal towel for each of us) and when we asked she said no. The tap was leaking. Overall the place could do better.

Fantastic location, nice room with a balcony. Lovely lady on reception desk.

No free water- all the other hostels we went to had dispensers, so this was disappointing. The bed in our room was made every day, but the toilet bin was not emptied, so it got quite full.
