A fantastic hostel in an historic building very close to Plönlein. The dinners there are also delicious 😊

A fan or air conditioning would have been great for the summer months.

Very dirty and noisy. Bed are just a small foam covered with plastic. Private rooms are just as bad as the hostel rooms

Quality of the food was good but no hot food except from eggs. Location was good.

Be aware that the closest parking is about 200m away. Most likely will your room be in a building closeby which is not presented in the photos. Keep in mind you will have to carry bedsheats over there. Our door was broken and was not lockable from outside. Understandable that they could not fix it on a sunday. There was personal clothes from earlier guests under my bed. Strange sounds came from the attic or walls during the night. Maybe a ghost, or a cat :)

Very polite and caring staff, delicious breakfast, amazing location. The hostel is located in an ancient building in the heart of the old city. Right in the yard of the hostel there is a fortress wall.

There were 3 sockets in a room for 5 people. But the staff made sure that no more than 3 people lived in the room at the same time

They were very kind and the breakfast was delicious.. they even allowed me to put my luggage there after i checked out because hotel Gasthof Zur Linde wouldn’t let me put my luggage in until 15:00.. i wish i had stay there my entire trip… thank you so much

The wifi could not reach 2nd floor so this could be a disaster for many tourists without sim card so i wish they fix this problem thats about it

1 - Thanks so much to 1 of the housekeeping lady (she have a chinese look) who are super kind, she show me how to use the key for the room. 2 - Main Building looks historic from outside but that's about it.

1 - Wifi only in main building, which is around the reception counter. No wifi at all in 2nd building for female dorm. To be honest, i did not know that dorm room is at 2nd building and not the main building where you register !! 2 - No lift in 2nd building. For female dorm, you have to pass thru the long stairs so if you have heavy luggage, Good Luck ;( 3 - So difficult to use the room key at first, until the housekeeping lady show me how. 4 - 1 power plug for dorm room ?? OMG To summarize, For the price i paid (43 Euro) and the facilities that they offered, totally not worth it. I'm sorry but this place needs proper renovation or improvement in order to give more comfort to people who want to stay here.

The receptionist woman was very helpful, breakfast was good, room and bathroom / shower room was clean.

Our room was in differend building, You need to take bed sheets and towels by yourself from another building and its difficult to carry everything with your luggage to that distance. Towels cost extra 2.5 euros. Also every guest pays axtra 3 euros for membership. There was only one charge in the room of nine people, it should be at every bed. Lockers need 2 euro deposit to lock and if you dont have a cash, its a problem. Would be good if beds have curtains for more privacy. No wifi. The entrance to the second building is dark at night and a bit scary
