Cala Luna Boutique Hotel & Villas

Adorei o contato pré-viagem. A pegada do hotel é wellness, então as comidinhas e atividades são bem voltada ao bem estar. Fiz yoga e funcional pela manhã e foram práticas muito prazerosas. Cama do quarto muito confortável e tudo cercado de verde. O acesso à praia foi perfeito, bem pertinho.

Chuveiro foi o único ponto negativo. Água bem fraquinha.

SUGERENCIA, EL MENÚ DE CENAS NO TENIA MUCHAS OPCIONES DE CARNES DE RES Y CAMARONES. TAMPOCO, OFRECÍAN CREMAS COMO ENTRADAS. SI UNO ESTÁ VARIOS DIAS, AL MENOS A MI NO ME GUSTA COMER PARECIDO Ó LO MISMO.

Was a great place to relax, no blasting music, and overall very good service. Despite being a very quiet resort, it is incredibly child friendly. The property was well secluded. We definitely enjoyed staying there. There was an endless supply of clean pool towels and water refilling stations around the property. Cleaning of the rooms was very good and consistent. If you ever need something reception was always ready to help. Great selection of excursions were offered by the property.

The food was overall ok, but very expensive for what it was. There are better options in Tamarindo. The breakfast buffett had a lot of options, but missed some key things, like crepes, waffles, bacon, and good bread. We stuck mainly to the very ripe fruit available for breakfast and fresh cooked eggs. Smaller things were also "missing" like having enough place to put clothes or a drying rack for wet clothes. This is a beachfront property (and it is wonderful during sunsets) but you can swim in the beach due to the rocks. You need to walk around 10 to 15 minutes to get to the swimmable Tamarindo beach.

The hotel has a nice quiet atmosphere and the bathroom was amazing - a bath like a swimming pool! Breakfast was also very good, lots of choices available.

The beach isn't really a beach - it's rocky and not great for swimming at all. This could have been better explained as it was a disappointment. The hotel puts sun loungers and towels out on the beach but they didn't set that up until 10am, travelling with kids, we were on the beach by 9am but had no towels or anywhere to sit. The pool wasn't all that clean (plasters/band-aids floating in it). There were never any towels available and when we asked, the staff member was dismissive and it took around 25 minutes for the towels to materialise.
