Staff at reception not organized and not service you as suppose to be

Really beautiful property and the rooms were so spacious. Some of the staff was outstanding! Great access to the beach.

Really just some odd customer service things… we were there for our 10 year wedding anniversary (which I let them know ahead of time). I booked massages, and when we asked about being in one room, they said we would have needed to let them know ahead of time… well I think if someone is booking an anniversary trip and asks for massages, maybe you should ask if they want them together at that point? I’d just assume a couples massage would be together. Also, our actual anniversary was on the night we ate dinner at the hotel (food was outstanding) but they didn’t even acknowledge it… thought that was really weird for an upscale resort. Anyway, we’d stay again, but just lower our expectations as it relates to service/communication.

The property was beautiful and lush with lots of howler monkeys and resident cats to make the stay fun! Room was comfortable and staff very helpful and kind. Amazing instructors for yoga and functional fitness classes!

Not much

We really enjoyed our stay, the seascape and beach error is wild and beautiful. While I was there I had a health problem and the hotel's response was amazing. They could not have been more helpful, in particular, Gabrielle, a member of the night staff was exceptional. The problem was minor in the scale of things, but a huge thank you to Gabrielle and other staff members.

Minor issue, but the breakfast would benefit from a review .

The pool, organic juices/food, sunset cocktail and private beach.

There were so, so many bugs inside of our hotel room. Ants in our bed, spiders, and 2 lizards. It was very uncomfortable and hard to sleep when I woke up with more bug bites every morning. We booked this hotel for the La Senda garden and farm-to-table experience. It wasn’t until we were checked into the hotel that the staff told us the gardens were a 35 minute drive from the hotel. That would have been really nice to know ahead of time. We even specified in our hotel reservation that we booked this hotel solely for the garden, but nothing was mentioned about it being off-site.

Amazing staff, and delicious food. Great pool area and lovely cocktails on the beach at sunset.

Nice room in the forest. We saw monkeys one of the days. Great breakfast. Lovely staff. Nice pool and sunset at the beach next door. Great farm to the table tour with amazing food. Strongly advise it Very good fondation and yoga classes.

The room was clean and surroundings were beautiful.

On the forth day the pool was grimy and nasty. The service and communication in the restaurant and front desk was sadly disappointing. This is not a good value for your money as of now, we had a long talk with the front desk before we left so hopefully they will improve.
