Segara Lombok Beach Resort

Beautiful hotel, next to a gorgeous peaceful beach and with super friendly staff. Can highly recommend to people looking for a peaceful getaway.

We loved our stay at Segara! The bungalows are amazing, and right in front is a stunning beach. With only 10 bungalows in the resort, it never felt crowded, which made it the perfect place to relax. The swimming pool was great, and the food at the restaurant was delicious (especially important since there aren’t many other dining options nearby). The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Our room was clean, very comfortable, and well-maintained. We also appreciated being able to rent a scooter directly through the resort, and there were plenty of options available for booking trips and activities.

The highlight for me was definitely the beautiful beach right in front of the resort — calm, clean, and perfect for relaxing or just enjoying the view. 🌊 The breakfast was fantastic every morning — lots of delicious options and fresh ingredients to start the day right. And I have to give a big shoutout to the friendly and helpful staff who made us feel so welcome throughout our stay.

If I may suggest one small improvement, it would be the access road to the hotel, which could be made a bit smoother or more clearly marked for new visitors. Other than that, everything was wonderful!

We stayed in a superior bungalow and it was a wonderful size, very comfortable, the ocean/garden view was beautiful, and I really loved the outside bathroom.

The only potential downside which actually has nothing to do with the hotel itself is that there isn’t much else to do around the hotel unless you drive/use a scooter. The hotel does provide a driver if you want to go anywhere fairly local, but essentially your only options are to enjoy the lovely hotel facilities!

Beautiful location and villas, extremely friendly staff and very good food. If you are looking for some peace and quiet this is the place.

We cannot fault our stay at Segara. EVERYTHING was exceptional, we arrived late due to flight delays and change in transport from flight to ferry, but Segara staff were very accommodating, organising a driver to pick us up from the ferry terminal, welcomed us with drinks and refreshment towels and the restaurant was still open to have dinner. They even organised a bike for us for the morning. The staff were so beautiful, we felt very welcomed and looked after the WHOLE time. The food was very very good, I am coeliac and they even had a gluten free menu which they always remembered to bring out when we sat down to eat. The room was gorgeous and clean, the photos online do not give it justice. The grounds including the pool and beach were so luscious, we felt like we were in a movie. We will most definitely be back. We miss it already and can’t wait to stay again!
