Segara Lombok Beach Resort

I can’t say enough good things about this hotel – it truly is the best place to stay in Lombok! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality. The entire staff went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable, but a special shoutout goes to Akhmad, who was incredibly attentive, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean, with beautiful, well-maintained grounds and comfortable, stylish rooms. The attention to detail is impressive – everything from the cozy bedding to the modern amenities made our stay feel luxurious. The location is fantastic, peaceful yet conveniently close to the best attractions, beaches, and restaurants. Whether you want to relax by the pool, explore the island, or enjoy delicious local cuisine, this place has it all. What really stood out was the genuine kindness of the staff. They remembered our names, always checked in to ensure we were happy, and even offered great recommendations for things to do. It felt like staying with friends rather than at a hotel. If you’re looking for a perfect blend of comfort, cleanliness, and outstanding service, this is the place to book. We will definitely be returning and recommending it to everyone. Does Segara Lombok have all the ingrediënt to be your slice of Heaven? You Choose. The resort is very beautiful, well maintained and very clean. The whole staff goes out of their way in a very pleasant and relaxed way. The combination of their kindness and training is very succesfull. The food is delicious with a lot of healthy options. The bungalow has a drop-dead bathroom and is very, very clean. The Pool is big with enough beds and some shade. From every spot on the resort you are enjoying the spectacular view of the waves of the ocean. The prices are above for Indonesian Standard but so is the service and here is where you can choose: is this your slice of Heaven? YES if you enjoy all of the above, not minding that you travelled half of world and payed a lot of money to escape your worklife just to find that this little resort allows evereybody to work on laptops in their beautiful restaurant, having live meetings and online meeting about margings and profits and investing and so on on speakerphone in the restaurant all day long ( meaning from 7.30 till 22.00..) and not just one, but a lot!! Having your fresh, delicous lobster listening to meetings about Investments, margins and profits… And there is the surfers and backbackers who are allowed to sleep on the only two loungesets in the restaurant area or to spend their entire day on the gazebo’s on a free, refillable bottle of water, meaning that you, as a paying hotelguest do not have the option to use one of the gazebo’s because they are all taken by the time you finished your breakfast…. So, again: a big YES if you do not mind all of this or a big NO if you do. You choose.

Close enough to hear the sea all around the Resort. Great staff especially in the restaurant, they were great with my little boy, chatting to him and entertaining him as they made various smoothies & delicious concoctions. A play box with games and books and child friendly area where young kids can play in eyesight of restaurant. Good recommendations and transport for beginner surf lessons over the hill at Selong Belanak beach. Really helpful when we had to go to the clinic for an ear infection and when we had to stay an extra night when our flight got cancelled. Good food & snacks, hope to go back again soon.

The coral and rough sand limited our beach and sea time a bit but Selong Belanak is only 5 mins drive with lovely soft sand & gentler surf and waves. The public road a couple of metres from our room was very noisy all night for a couple of nights but I think this is rare and the sea worm festival was quite fun to catch the end of... 3-7am... thousands of people with head torches and jars all over the low tide with music and noisy exhausts...

The resort grounds are immaculate and the gardens are lovely. The resort's structures are attractive with a natural aesthetic that blends perfectly with the setting and the layout is well designed. It's very quiet, with a nearly complete absence of noise from motorcycles and mosques, and no disturbing sounds whatsoever. The room's air conditioner is also whisper quiet. It's a real treat to hear only the sounds of nature. The food at the restaurant is very good and the food is reasonably priced. The resort is really well managed and the staff are very friendly, helpful and competent. They rent scooters with helmets directly from the resort which is very convenient. The room is very well designed and the al fresco bathroom especially beautiful.

I experienced random slowdowns and dropouts of Internet connectivity, perhaps due to overload, but the Wi-Fi signal was strong throughout the resort area and it did work well most of the time.
