Everything was perfect, the welcome, the charming staff, the excellent cuisine. Advice. Magnificent snorkeling with Mickel. Cinema under the stars. the kindness of the team. We spent 5 days in paradise!

Remote location as expected. Nice snorkeling directly from the island.

Staff seemed not to concerned with some equipment needing some maintenance or "touch up". Just a little work here and there ( working toilet doors or some soap) would benefit the place greatly. The way it is it feels like a missed opportunity.

Great stay, beautiful snorkeling and beautiful beach. There’s a diving center that you should try! The bungalow itself is basic but has a good bed, a powerful fan, and a mosquitonet. Food for us was good and free water, tea and good coffee available. Beer was there, but expensive (100.000). We had a movie night with a documentary on manta rays, was magical.

Nothing, but there are a few things that might be considered for other travelers, that were not a problem for us. - Not all the staff was equally friendly, some don’t even smile or seem to care. - if you are vegetarian, always let them know before having a meal, as they tend to forget. If you stay with non-vegetarians, they cook your egg in the same sauce. - internet is only available when the generator is on, which is not always according to schedule. Telkomsel has good reception. - They say you must pay in cash, but they also accept (and prefer) international bank transfer (but it’s also not always available). Check with them before you go, saves hassle in Singkil. - the water from the shower is a bit smelly when you are under, but it does not stay on the skin. Tip: transport from singkil to balai is very easy and cheap, local boat or ferry saves you about 3 million IDR. The prices that are charged for a speedboat are really high.

Position, coral reef around the island, beautful beach, wonderful position of the bungalow in front of the ocean. Attention to the environment, fantastic scuba dive team. All the effort to make the island nice and efficient

Hospitality- at arrival no explanation and welcome Better communication with guests. I had to organize the transfer by myself no support given if I did not take speedboat. Be careful, Transfer requires 7 hours and with changes! The place is really worth to be seen and a perfect stay to relax would be nice some dedicated attention and explanation if something is not going properly ( ie repetitive food caused by storm and lack of supply..)

The facilities are great and the staff are lovely. Edo makes the best food and caters to any diet. You feel so well looked after here! The snorkelling on this island is also the best in the Banyaks, couldn’t recommend enough.

The staff is really Nice, food is Good and they really succeeded in making different meals every day eventhough you’re on an island far from everything !

Very relaxing and lovely island. Snorkeling is good, scuba diving possible with scuba center on the island, climbing Gunung Tiusa with nice view possible with short transfer to Holoban. Very nice and welcoming personnel.

Diversity in meals, more fish not only very small pieces; tables very crowded when all huts are booked, best max 6Guests. If all huts are booked it would be advisable to have the meals in 2 groups. A bit overpriced

The Banyak Islands are an exceptionally beautiful group of islands with great clear water and very few tourists so far. Tailana Island is a very pretty little island, jungle inside, beautiful beaches with reefs in front of the island for snorkeling, you can quickly see a lot of small fish. There is also a diving school on Tailana. There is only one accommodation with a few small huts, perfect for relaxing and living life easy. Simple but thoughtful with comfort, little waste produced, the freshly cooked food is very good. Great team, thank you Lukas and Dicky! Snorkeling, diving, kayaking, SUP, boat trips to other islands e.g. Pulau Bangkaru possible Boat transfer available from and to Singkil, best shared with other guests.

The island is beautiful, the new bungalows are really pretty and right on the beach, you even have a Seaview from the bed. Staff is friendly and not over present which I like. There are almost no mosquitoes and the beaches are super clean, you can have good snorkeling sessions just a few meters from the beach.

The food portions are not always enough and when you stay for several nights it's laking diversity. When the resort is full, the common room is a bit small and sometimes it's difficult to find where to sit to eat, same for the toilets/bathrooms, one additional unit would be necessary in my opinion.
