I've stayed at a lot of hotels in Bali over the years, but 11 on Kajeng is genuinely something else. If you're looking for the best boutique hotel in Ubud — somewhere intimate, beautifully designed, and adults-only so you can actually relax — this is exactly it. We booked for four nights and immediately wished we'd stayed longer. The location is absolutely unbeatable. Right in the heart of central Ubud, steps from Jalan Kajeng with all its charm, and within easy walking distance of the Sacred Monkey Forest, the art market, and the best restaurants Ubud has to offer. You get all the magic of being in the centre of things, but the moment you step through the gates of 11 on Kajeng, the world outside completely melts away. It's that rare combination of connected and secluded that's so hard to find. The rooms and grounds are stunning. Lush tropical gardens, thoughtful Balinese design, and spaces that feel both luxurious and deeply connected to the natural surroundings. Everything has been considered — from the architecture to the little touches in your room that remind you someone genuinely cared about your stay. Waking up here every morning felt like a privilege. Wow! What a charming and huge villa in the heart of Ubud! The staff were charming and welcome you as though you’re an old friend. The room is super clean and the breakfast is the best I’ve had in Bali. Location is great, turn left and you’re in the centre of the market and walking distance to central Ubud. Turn right and you walk into the magical and peaceful rice fields lush with natural serenity and peacefulness. As a solo female traveller I felt safe and very comfortable in my home away from home. I Will definitely stay again!
