JPA great location with beautiful nature. The room was clean and the room I stayed in had a private Onsen on the balcony which was very nice and relaxing. The staff are very kind and the garden is well organized.

USThe hot bath are the high light of the place! Beautiful! But they are only open from 6-10 am and 4-10 pm so you can't use them for a big period of time in the day. If you catch the right weather, you can see Mt. Fuji from the lower bath.
The place is clean but it's dingy. It needs a paint job and new carpets. The carpets are wrinkled and some wall paint peeling. The landscaping is sad. The location is difficult. You need a car! It's $20-40 for a taxi anywhere and buses hardly run in the area. The hotel will provide breakfast and dinner but they charge $100 per person for dinner and $20 for breakfast. The food looked good but not $100 good! That being said, it was fine for the price. I would stay there again, and bring a car!
