Tulip Resort Pai

The bungalow was very nice and comfy. The decoration is cute and we enjoy a lot the terrace. During summer time it's quiet hot inside the bungalow during the day but in the night the temperature is ok with fan. Arpar had come to find us to the bus station by an acceptable price and she seems a nice person.

We think that it would be could a lot of things to improve : The booking photos of the garden are not very realistic, there is not tulip at all, no terrace with umbrella, no small lake etc. The restaurant was not open when we stayed, actually she only could offer breakfast, not any lunch or dinner, there is even no menu and you are like 5 km away from the city center. We didn't try the breakfast because it was 120 bath per person, which we consider expensive in Thailand, moreover when you don't have a menu to see what could be and with that price you sometimes can have local lunch for 2 people, or rent a bike for 1 day. Renting a motorbike is mandatory because the center of Pai or any restaurants are far away, like 5 km minimum. The room was not ready when we arrived, at 14:30. We were the only customers to check in that day and there are only 3 bungalows.

Nice location away from the crowds. Arpar is a very dedicated and lovely host!

About an hours walk outside of Pai, if you have a scooter it’s just under 10 minutes.

bamboo cabins was good but a bit close together.

Tulips has nothing to do with property. The garden grounds were disgraceful to call a resort . Not maintained grounds. Owner totally disorganised. Arrived at 2pm but had not cleaned room. Took us to town for a fee to hire motorbike and we returned 6pm and room still not ready. Eventually got in room but no water for shower turned on. Owner pressed for breakfast service for 120 Bart but at 9.30 had to wake her up. next day we said breakfast 9am but the lady had not retuned from visiting somewhere till a short time after. we left and cut our visit short even though we had paid for another night.

beautiful setting in the countryside. beautiful, clean and well equipped wooden cottages. very nice host.
