Great location. Hot-tub nice & clean. Clean and well presented inside. Slept really well.

Outside area to the rear of Acorn is super-tired. Small things that didn’t affect the enjoyment of the stay but raise question marks about the nightly rate….back gate broken, burn marks on the composite decking, end cap for decking lying on the ground, a crack in one of the steps leading down to hot tub, lots of cob-webs on the decking area…..just looks in need of a good spruce up. Also, depending on the website you look at, needs to be super-clear that WiFi is not an available feature.

Nice lodge, kids loved the hot tub. Great information about the local area. Owners friendly and quick to respond to queries.

Wifi not the best. Beds not overly comfy but that’s personal preference.

Great lakeside location, and an overall central location in the lakes for accessing the mountains. Lodge was clean, comfortable and very peaceful with just about everything you need for a hiking holiday. Hot tub was perfect.

Could do with having bathrobe and disposable slippers for the hot tub. WiFi wasn't the fastest but ok.
