Everything. The staff/owner took time to make sure everything was great for you. The chef would come and ask if everything was fine with the food he had prepared. All these little things add up. A great experience.

Nothing to dislike.

The best weekend away we've had in a long time. This hotel is amazing, it was absolutely spotless, the cleaning staff were incredible, all the staff were amazing, so professional, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotless, decor was stylish, so relaxing, the bed was so comfortable and huge. It was very quiet although there were other guest you didn't hear them. I have dietary requirements and wanted to have dinner in the hotel, spoke to the waiter at breakfast and the chef came out to talk to me to discuss a meal he could prepare for me, I felt very soecial. Talking of the chef, the food was absolutely delicious and the presentation was incredible. The decor in this hotel was stunning and the attention to detail was incredible. We really didn't want to leave. Almost didn't put on this review as we may not get a room next time we plan to go, but the Forrester Park Resort is a real hidden gem and.deserves to be fully booked it is an amazing experience.

The weather

The hotel is lovely, with beautiful rooms, delicious food, and phenomenal staff.

Everything, owned by a family who took a pride in their product. Comfortable, stylish and friendly.

Spotless & clean , beautiful

The room was very nice, but there was no mirror in the room.

The room was adjacent to the Gents toilet for one of the function suites. The door on the toilet banged every time someone shut it and the noise from the hand dryer was loud and was clearly audible all night. There was a Disco playing for a function and the music was heard from our room. There were folk wandering in the corridor and doors banging. At 1-55am the staff left to go home and started their cars to defrost them right outside our bedroom window.. If the soundproofing could be up graded it would make a huge difference.

It was very comfortable. The room had all we needed for our overnight stay. The staff were extremely helpful, in particular the young gentleman waiting on the tables at breakfast. Couldn’t have been more helpful and attentive. Credit to the hotel for sure. Food was also well cooked and delicious.

The rain fall shower didn’t appear to be connected to the water supply so we had to use the hand held shower which wasn’t very easy to operate as it seemed stuck on hot, however I managed to free it and was able to shower. Not ideal, trying to hold a shower head and put shampoo etc in your hand.
