The staff! Just wonderful and genuine

Room a little noisy

We stayed here for our holiday, Tuesday until the Saturday. Staff were very lovely and always made sure we had everything we needed. Room was stunning and very clean. We had breakfast every morning and it was delicious. We also had a 3 course meal on our last night which was amazing. We stayed here as we wanted to go into Edinburgh and it was the perfect location, close to the tram station and we went to a beach not far. If we ever come back to Scotland, we will definitely be staying here again!

Quiet location with rolling country views, luxe setting on golf course. Excellent restaurant though pricey.

Showers (ceiling and hand-held) didn't work.

Beautiful property lovely and quiet

Breakfast was good - and gluten free options were refreshing! As the hotel was empty - we did get friendly, attentive service at breakfast.

1. No housekeeping - came back to dirty cups, wet towels (as the towel rail had been disabled), no clean bedding, no replenishment of coffee capsules etc. This is a deal breaker for me. 2. No lights on the outside of the building when coming back late - really felt unsafe trying to walk through a dark car park etc. 3. Incredibly noisy hallway - so sleep was disturbed very early in the day.
