Cabilao Sanctuary Beach & Dive Resort

It was great stay, we rested and had a proper chillout after intense travelling. Pool and the other facilities were great. Restaurant prices reasonable. Nice message (but too soft)

Breakfast selection could be improved. If you stay in Cabilao more than 5 days food there starts to bore you. It wasn’t perfect to be honest and there is no other option to go unfortunately. Almost no fruits! It would be nice if for breakfast guests would get some watermelon at least as it’s common in different hotels in Philippines. No fridges in the room. Some bean bags next to the pool were in mold

We had a lovely 2‑day stay at Cabilao Resort. The facilities were excellent, and the staff were very kind and helpful. They assisted us with organizing excursions and transfers, which made everything easy and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Stunningly beautiful location. The room was well equipped and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was good. The snorkelling on the edge of the reef, 30m from shore, was great.

The beach is very shallow so not great for swimming. You have to go out 15m or so before it is deep. I found the easiest way out was to snorkel through the shallow water.

Our stay in the second room at the resort was calm and comfortable, and it suited our needs well. The staff were consistently friendly and attentive, always ready to help with anything we needed. The setting was ideal for unwinding, and the house reef was a real highlight, offering enjoyable snorkeling just steps from the beach. Meals were reasonably priced, and the Wi-Fi in the common areas was reliable enough for staying connected.

That said, there are a few areas where improvements could be made. The food selection was fairly limited, particularly at breakfast, and more fresh fruit and vegetables would have been welcome. Some of the beach furniture is starting to look worn. Wi-Fi was not available in the room, only in public spaces

We spent a week at this resort and overall had a very pleasant stay. From the moment we arrived, the friendly and welcoming staff made us feel comfortable. One of the highlights was the diving—sites were only about a 15-minute boat ride away, the equipment was in good condition, and the guides were excellent. The house reef was also a big plus, offering great snorkeling with plenty to see right off the beach. Both the diving and the meals were reasonably priced, and Wi-Fi in the public areas worked well.

There were a few downsides worth mentioning. While the food was decent, more variety—especially when it came to fruits, vegetables, and breakfast options—would have made it better. The air conditioning in the room could have been colder, and some of the beach furniture is starting to show its age. We also found a very large spider in the curtains one day, though understandable given the tropical environment. Wi-Fi was not available in the rooms, only in common areas. Despite these minor issues, we enjoyed our time at the resort and would recommend it, particularly for those interested in diving and snorkeling.

Das Essen war besser als erwartet, mit frischen Zutaten. Das Personal super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ideal, zum auf den Philippinen ankzukommen ohne grossen Trubel.

Emplacement sur cette île magnifique, très authentique, avec des locaux accueillants. Personnel aux petits soins.

La nourriture n’était pas la meilleure mais toujours préparé avec amour. Pour les fins gourmets il y a d’autres restaurants autour.
